What it means to grow well.
Businesses do not grow because they work harder. Transformational growth rarely happens because of a single strategy, campaign, or hire. It happens as the business develops new capabilities: the ability to think more clearly, communicate more consistently, build trust more intentionally, make better decisions, attract stronger opportunities, and execute with greater discipline.
Large organizations develop these capabilities through executive teams, specialist departments, and years of institutional learning. Most founder-led businesses are expected to develop them while serving customers, managing cash flow, hiring teams, and making hundreds of decisions every week.
That gap is where we work. At Orialis and Co. every engagement is different, but our work is always guided by five conditions that support sustainable growth: Clarity, Capability, Credibility, Connection, Continuity,
Building organizations worthy of the women leading them.
Orialis & Co is a strategy and advisory firm that partners with ambitious African women to build businesses that are easier to understand, easier to trust, and easier to grow.
Through research, strategy, communications, advertising, marketing, and executive operations advisory, we work with founders to strengthen the capabilities that turn growing businesses into enduring organizations.
We inherited ingenuity. Not institutions.
For generations, African women have created opportunity from almost nothing. Not every founder begins with capital, networks, or an established company. Many of us begin with something equally valuable: the example of women who built with resourcefulness, resilience, and remarkable standards.
Our inheritance has never been a lack of ambition or ability. What has been harder to inherit are the structures that allow exceptional work to outlive the people who create it: the strategy, leadership, systems, and institutional capability that allow ingenuity to compound across generations.
Orialis & Co. was built for that next chapter.
Where is your business asking for more from you?
We're struggling to attract the right opportunities.
Marketing isn't translating into growth, and we're not reaching the clients or partners we want.
When growth feels harder than it should, the issue can sit across your positioning, marketing, sales, partnerships, or the way the business is being presented to the market.
You'll likely work with:
- Growth Office to strengthen demand, sales, partnerships, and commercial momentum.
- Strategy Office to clarify your market, positioning, and growth priorities.
- Communications Office to sharpen how your value is communicated.
People don't understand what makes us different.
We know the value we create, but our message isn't landing.
When your value is difficult to articulate, it becomes harder for customers, partners, investors, and even your own team to see why the business matters.
You'll likely work with:
- Strategy Office to clarify your positioning and competitive advantage.
- Communications Office to turn that strategy into clear messaging across your brand and channels.
We're generating activity, but not enough revenue.
We're working hard, posting regularly, getting interactions but aren't actually converting to sales.
A busy marketing calendar can still leave the commercial engine underperforming. We look at the strategy behind your demand, conversion, offers, and routes to market.
You'll likely work with:
- Growth Office to strengthen marketing, sales, customer journeys, and conversion.
- Strategy Office to sharpen the commercial strategy behind your growth.
- Communications Office to improve the messages and materials supporting conversion.
Our business has grown, but our brand hasn't kept up.
We're doing bigger, better things, but we're struggling to get people to see us as anything more than another startup.
Growth changes the business, and your positioning, identity, website, and communications need to reflect where you're going.
You'll likely work with:
- Strategy Office to define the next expression of the brand and its position in the market.
- Communications Office to strengthen messaging, brand communications, and customer-facing materials.
- Growth Office to connect the brand with the audiences and opportunities you want to reach.
Our systems are struggling to keep up with our growth.
As the business grows, informal ways of working start creating friction. We help put the structures, processes, and operating rhythms in place to support the organization you're becoming.
You'll likely work with:
- Operations Office to strengthen processes, systems, roles, and ways of working.
- Executive Office to support the leadership decisions required as the organization evolves.
Everything still depends on me.
The business has grown, but so has my workload. I can't keep operating this way.
When the founder remains the central point for every decision, approval, and problem, growth becomes harder to sustain. The work is about building greater organizational capacity around you.
You'll likely work with:
- Operations Office to create clearer systems, processes, and accountability.
- Executive Office to strengthen leadership, delegation, and decision-making.
Our team isn't operating at the level we need.
We're getting the job done, but I know we can do so much better than this.
A growing business needs the right structure, expectations, leadership, and operating systems to help people perform at their best.
You'll likely work with:
- Operations Office to strengthen organizational design, roles, workflows, and performance systems.
- Executive Office to support leadership, accountability, and decision-making.
We know where we want to go, but not how to get there.
Execution is inconsistent, communication breaks down, and I'm constantly stepping back in.
The ambition is clear. What you're missing is a strategy that translates that ambition into priorities, decisions, and a practical path forward.
You'll likely work with:
- Strategy Office to define the direction, priorities, and roadmap.
- Executive Office to provide strategic counsel as those decisions are made and implemented.
We're preparing for our next stage of growth.
We're expanding, raising capital, applying for funding, launching something new, or entering a new market.
The next stage requires the business to be ready for what comes with it.
You'll likely work with:
- Strategy Office to clarify priorities and define the path forward.
- Operations Office to strengthen the systems needed to support growth.
- Growth Office to build commercial momentum for the next stage.
We're making important decisions without enough information.
We've made some big moves on a whim that have cost us time, money and clients.
Big decisions become easier to make when they're grounded in a clear understanding of the market, customer, competition, and opportunity.
You'll likely work with:
- Research Office to gather the evidence and insights behind the decision.
- Strategy Office to turn those insights into a clear strategic direction.
We know something needs to change, but we don't know where to start.
Sometimes the challenge is bigger than a single service or department. We help you understand what's really happening before deciding what needs to change.
You'll likely work with:
- Research Office to investigate the business, market, and underlying challenge.
- Strategy Office to identify priorities and define the path forward.
- Executive Office to provide perspective and decision support.
We need experienced leadership without hiring an executive team.
We're expanding, raising capital, applying for funding, launching something new, or entering a new market.
You may need the thinking and experience of senior leadership before you're ready to build those functions internally. The Executive Office gives you access to that capacity when you need it.
You'll likely work with:
- Executive Office for strategic advisory, leadership counsel, decision support, and executive-level perspective.
- Operations Office where stronger organizational systems are needed alongside that leadership support.
We've outgrown the business we originally built..
We're solving a different set of problems for our clients now, but we're struggling to streamline our workflows and develop the capacity we need to do it well.
The business has changed, but the structures, positioning, systems, or leadership model around it may still reflect an earlier stage.
You'll likely work with:
- Strategy Office to rethink the business for its next chapter.
- Operations Office to strengthen the organization behind the growth.
- Executive Office to support the founder through the transition.

Gabriella Glymin
I grew up believing that African women could build extraordinary things.
I didn't learn that from business books. I learned it by watching my grandmothers.
One was an internationally trained fashion designer whose standards shaped the way I think about craftsmanship, quality, and excellence.
The other was an entrepreneur of remarkable imagination who seemed capable of building a business wherever she saw opportunity.Between them, they taught me that enterprise is as much about vision as it is about resilience.
They also left me with a question that has shaped my career.
What would happen if women with that same ingenuity had access to the institutional capabilities that help great organizations endure?
That question has taken me through nearly fifteen years of work across strategic communications, public affairs, luxury hospitality, international development, education, real estate, branding, and business strategy.
Although the industries changed, the pattern rarely did. The organizations that created lasting value were not always the ones with the best products or the biggest budgets. They were the ones that thought more clearly, communicated more effectively, built trust more intentionally, and developed the internal capacity to grow without losing themselves.
Today, I bring those disciplines together as an Institutional Growth Strategist, supporting women as they build businesses that are backed by ingenuity and resilient structure.
